Green Valley Lake

A secluded 4 Season Resort Community located in the San Bernardino Mountains.

Approximately 1,000 cabins and homes that are surrounded by National Forest and an estimated full time population of 400. Located off Highway 18, between Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear, 3 miles before Snow Valley. The Green Valley Lake Rd. is approximzately 3 miles to the village.

Green Valley Lake was established in 1892 as a toll station on the old main dirt road connecting San Bernardino to Fawn Skin and Big Bear. Located at an approximate elevation of 7,200 feet, Green Valley Lake is one of the highest mountain communities with beautiful views of the desert and Lake Arrowhead. Sunsets here are unriveled.

This 14 acre lake was built in 1926 for the recreation of the property owners and still provides great fishing, boating and swimming beach. All property owners enjoy lake rights. Also included is a sports court where you can play volleyball/tennis/basketball and skateboard. There are BBQ facilities, a marina to rent boats, a boat house with fish stocking information (usually every week in the summer) and miscellaneous information.

Towards the end of Green Valley Lake Rd you will find the Lilliberg Museum which is a wonderful place to visit on the weekends. The history is colorful and informative and there are family activities in the summer. You will also find a great camping area for tents, campers and recreational vehicles.  Three times a year there is an Artisan Home Tour where you can visit the resident artists homes and purchase some pretty nice things!  Other yearly events include children activities, The Music in the Mountain Festival, Annual Classic Car Show, 4th of July Parade, Summer water events, Annual Rummage Sale, and a Christmas Tree Lighting Party.

Green Valley Lake Water is from the mountain springs and the air is so clean that you can almost touch the stars at night. All Cabins are on sewer. Broadband internet is available as well as all other utilites. Other services include a "Pantry" for groceries, A Malt Shop, Real Estate, Cabin Rentals, Post Office and  a bait shop.
